Contemporary art explained to my grandmother

Laugh, cry and understand 11 June 2018

CUBO in Porta Europa - Piazza Sergio Vieira de Mello 3 e 5, Bologna
11 Jun 2018 - 11 Jun 2018

The works of the Group’s Artistic Heritage, exhibited at CUBO in the exhibition Traces. Works from the Unipol Group Heritage, are told through the revolutionary critical methodological approach that Alice Zannoni used in her book to help to bring her grandmother Zita closer to the world of contemporary art.

Alice abandons all that ‘critical text terminology’ to grow closer to an important family member, her grandmother Zita, and guides us through the discovery of the greatest works of art of the 20th century, recounting 100 years of art history with simplicity and authority, revealing the foundations and highlighting the mechanisms that make a simple bottle rack a work of art worth millions.
