In collaboration with CEFA, CUBO presents the theme of beekeeping in Africa as a liberation opportunity for African women. Speakers include Riccardo Bubbolini, agronomist in Somalia and Kenya for CEFA, Elena Alicino, beekeeper of CONAPI, and Elisabetta Tedeschi, Communications Manager of CONAPI.

Our guests will offer reflections on the climate change emergency and how beekeeping creates opportunities for work and development, as well as environmental protection. In particular, they will explore how beekeeping empowers African women, allowing them to supplement their household income through the sale of honey.
