Summer camps

CUBO proposes a series of weekly summer camps focused on various different and topical themes and issues. Aimed at children aged between 12 and 17, the courses will be streamed online.The courses are free of charge and registration is mandatory. Choose the type of camp you prefer.
English...FLYERS AND KEY. Elementary level
- From Monday 29 June 2020 to friday 3 July 2020, from 10:00 to 13:00
This course aims to improve the students’ knowledge of English, preparing them for the **Cambridge FLYERS ** exam.
The first part of the morning focuses on dynamically improving the students’ vocabulary by watching an episode of a television series in the original language with regular pauses to check comprehension and character analysis; this will be followed by the production of short interactive sketches on the episode they have just seen and grammar exercises.
It is targeted at secondary school children aged 11 to 13.
Their level of knowledge of English is assessed via a telephone interview with the **Anglo American School**. Based on the results, the School reserves the right to transfer the student to the afternoon class.

This course aims to improve the students’ knowledge of English, preparing them for the **Cambridge KEY ** exam.
The first part of the afternoon focuses on dynamically improving the students’ vocabulary by watching an episode of a television series in the original language and subsequently producing short interactive sketches. After a short break, the students will do grammar exercises.
The course is targeted at secondary school children aged 11 to 13.
Their level of knowledge of English is assessed via a telephone interview with the **Anglo American School**. Based on the results, the School reserves the right to transfer the student to the morning class.
English...FIRST!
- From Monday 22 June 2020 to friday 26 June 2020, from 10:00 to 17:00
This course aims to improve the students’ knowledge of English, preparing them for the **Cambridge FIRST** exam. Based on the most modern didactic, pedagogical and sociological theories, the programme is stimulating and interactive but with a very serious learning objective.
The course will involve listening, reading and writing sessions and genuine virtual journeys in England, Scotland, Ireland, the US and Canada.
It is targeted at secondary school children aged 14 to 17.
The course is open to those with English level B1, as evaluated in an interview with the **Anglo American School**.
DRIVE SAFELY - PREPARATORY theory course for A-B driving license
- From Monday 6 July 2020 to friday 10 July 2020, from 09:00 to 12:00
This preparatory course for the A-B driving license is aimed at 16 to 18 year-olds and prepares them for the car and motorbike theory test, providing them with all the information they need to present the necessary documentation. The workshop alternates theory with exercises, with the support of professional **Drive System** trainers.
CASE MATTE! Appartenenza, accoglienza, rifugio, fantasia.
- From Monday 31 August 2020 to friday 4 September 2020, from 14:00 to 18:00
In collaborazione con **Studio Croma**, CUBO propone il corso CASE MATTE! Appartenenza, accoglienza, rifugio, fantasia.
Un Laboratorio di ricerca artistico-visiva incentrato sul concetto di casa, come abitazione, mondo, spazio interiore, cultura. I ragazzi rifletteranno sul significato di luogo di appartenenza. La casa come luogo dell’anima oltre che del corpo, microcosmo culturale ed esperienziale e allo stesso tempo luogo condiviso, in cui convivere e crescere assieme: la casa come estensione della famiglia, ma anche come il pianeta che abitiamo. Alla fine del campo, una presentazione del lavoro di ogni partecipante insieme al racconto della strada che lo ha portato all’elaborato finale. Un metodo per lasciare spazio non solo alla creatività, ma anche per aiutare i ragazzi a sperimentare doti comunicative.
Il corso si svolgerà **online** nei seguenti orari 14:00 – 18:00.
