English course for adults 09 January – 13 March 2021
The course is structured to improve the participant’s language skills from level B1+ to B2 in business English through the use of specific vocabulary, proper grammar and practice: communication skills, first impressions in presentations, customer relationship management.
There is an online entrance examination to gauge participants’ level.
Minimum level B1+.

Business Skills: English business vocabulary

After a short introduction to the course, we will analyse specific business vocabulary and grammar through the use of videos, role plays and phone and videocall practice.
Talking about yourself in a work context

From revision with role plays of the previous lesson's material to First impressions in presentations and Business etiquette.
This is followed by writing exercises: writing an email using formal and informal language.
Customer Relationship Management

Our topic for this module is RESOLVING CONFLICTS: dividing into 2 groups, we will open a debate to explore the importance of using technical vocabulary to resolve conflict, developing understanding and counterarguments to back up your theory .
