Inclusive communication workshop 01 March – 07 May 2022
“Say, do, include” is a path that aims to explore the potential of communication at all levels to deepen knowledge of effective and inclusive communication. At the same time, it aims to be a path of awareness of diversity as wealth and inclusion as an opportunity for all, offering participants the chance to participate in cultural, educational and recreational activities proposed by local associations that have been engaged in the processes of inclusion for many years.

The levels of communication

The meeting introduces the different levels of communication (verbal, non-verbal, paraverbal) to analyse their varying potential through theatrical games.
Emotional intelligence and effective communication (Part I)

During the second meeting, we will explore the concept of emotional intelligence in the expression of oneself and in the relationship with others for conscious and effective communication. Non-verbal, chemical-olfactory communication and calming signals.

The third meeting explores the concept of emotional intelligence through experiences and theatrical games.
Active listening

The theme of the meeting is the importance of active listening in understanding complex situations and the "decentralised position" necessary to welcome the point of view of others and seek creative solutions in conflict management.
LIS (Italian Sign Language) introductory lesson

The film-documentary "Un giorno la notte", a docufilm made by ZALAB, will be shown. Its director Michele Cattani and the film's protagonists will be present for a discussion with the public on the docufilm and on the technique of participatory video.
