The first exam in detail

  • Tuesday 7 April 2026 at 10:00 - 12:00

We will first examine the three types of texts: analysis and interpretation of a literary text; analysis and production of an opinion text; expository-opinion critical reflection on current topics. For each one, we will look at structure, characteristics and concrete examples in order to best focus our writing and choose the right path.

Six steps for a written exam done well

  • Tuesday 14 April 2026 at 10:00 - 12:00

Certain steps must be followed to get it right the first time. In this lesson we will look at how best to manage your time, following six strategic steps that cover the entire writing process. The focus will be not only on the actual drafting phase (how to structure the beginning? How to construct an incisive ending?), but also the preliminary activities of planning the writing and the often-underestimated revision.

Cross-cutting methods and content

  • Tuesday 21 April 2026 at 10:00 - 12:00

We will focus on how to build real cultural and methodological knowledge, including effective methods and 'highly applicable' content, by analysing the recurring themes in the latest editions of the final exams and learning how to coherently and critically plan out interdisciplinary thematic paths in preparation for the first exam.
