Eco – Logically
Teaching module for junior secondary schools 10 - 17 - 24 March 2026
This course is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of individual and collective choices in the context of environmental, social, cultural and economic sustainability to expand one’s ecological awareness and make us active and efficient citizens. Through a practical and engaging approach, we will learn about which habits are the most sustainable and easily applicable in everyday life, in the home and in fashion, to become conscious and responsible consumers.

Ecology at home

We will learn some sustainable practices applicable in the household and in personal care, exploring environmentally-friendly alternatives to conventional cleaning products. Attendees will leave with an understanding of how to read labels and analyse certifications, to try to reduce their water impact as much as possible and achieve real energy savings.
Fast fashion and environmental impact

We will explore the world of sustainable fashion, starting with what fashion is, how it has evolved and its environmental and social impacts. We will talk about Fast Fashion and Ultra Fast Fashion and what lies behind these highly short-term consumption patterns. Finally, we will explore some techniques for upcycling and customising clothes, including swap parties and second-hand options, to give new life to clothes.
Becoming aware consumers

Since when and why do we produce so much so fast?
We will explore the mechanisms of bio-capacity, consumption and local and global production to discover and assess our ecological footprint, in order to become conscious consumers and producers.
