Views on the (possible) future of schools
22 September 2022

At the Open Day, held to present CUBO's teaching modules for the 2022/2023 school year, Alessandro Bencivenni will discuss the possible future of schools.

It has been a difficult period for schools, especially those in Italy, but after a series of challenges, many of which brought about by the pandemic, it is time to take stock and understand what direction we want to take. Are we ready, thanks to the new technologies that have assisted us over the past two years and enabled us to continue providing our educational services, to create a new, personal way of schooling? What are we leaving behind? And what aspects have remained unchanged in the last few decades? Is what we regard as innovation really innovation? What core skills will our students need in the future and can we start working on them at school right now? And more importantly, using which strategies and methodologies? We will try to answer all of these questions on the basis of our experiences as teachers and students, offering some practical tips.

The event will be held live at the specified venues in compliance with the rules for safety and social distancing.
