Alas, which means wings in the Sardinian language, is a journey into the feminine, its ancient, forgotten strength, often caged and wounded by patriarchal violence. Alas is a ritual and a dance: a ritual born from sound to convey an invitation to reconnect with the true nature of women, with their ancestral and luminous strength capable of giving a voice to silences.
Dance becomes ritual in an act of rebellion and rebirth, an invitation to reconnect with the true nature of the feminine, because only when women rediscover their wings can the entire world learn to fly again.
The event is part of the seventh edition of
Non ballo da sola, the festival promoted and organized by CUBO and Unipol on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
